Parking & Transportation
Navy Pier is accessible via a wide variety of public transportation options, and also offers on-site parking. Following is a list of options to consider when visiting Navy Pier.

BY CAR
From the north, take Lake Shore Drive (US 41) to the Grand Avenue exit and follow signs to Navy Pier.
From the northwest, take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) to the Ohio Street Exit, head east on Ohio to Wells, head south on Wells to Illinois Street, then proceed east to Navy Pier. A secondary route is to take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) to the Ohio Street exit, head east on Ohio to Columbus/Fairbanks, then go south on Columbus/Fairbanks to Illinois, and proceed east on Illinois to Navy Pier.
From the west, take the Eisenhower Express (I-290) to Columbus Drive, north to Illinois Street and proceed east to Navy Pier. **Please be advised that construction continues on the Congress Parkway Bridge. From the southwest, take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) to Lake Shore Drive (US 41) north to Illinois Street exit and turn right (east) at bottom of ramp to Navy Pier.
From the south, take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/94) east to the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) to Lake Shore Drive (US 41) north to Illinois Street exit and turn right (east) at bottom of ramp to Navy Pier.
From the southeast, take Lake Shore Drive (US 41) north to Illinois Street exit.
PARKING
Standard Parking operates on-site parking garages which accommodate 1,600 cars at Navy Pier. Chicago Fine Chocolate and Dessert Show takes place in Navy Pier Festival Hall B, which is closest to the East Parking Garage. For more information, please contact Standard Parking at 312-595-5072. Rates are Friday through Sunday - $25 flat rate/day. (Prices include $3.50 city & county tax and are subject to change). Valet parking is not available.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Public transportation offers visitors an affordable and convenient way to get to Navy Pier. It is also the recommended means of travel to and from Navy Pier. Use the directions below.
METRA
METRA commuter rail is a convenient travel alternative. On weekends and select holidays, up to 3 children under the age of 12 travel free of charge when accompanied by a fare-paying adult. The CTA's #124 bus provides convenient and direct service from Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station to Navy Pier. CITY BUS (CTA)
The CTA provides seven bus lines with more than 200 buses serve Navy Pier daily.
• #124 Navy Pier Express (serving METRA lines the Millenium (Randolph St.), Ogilvie and Union Stations)
• #29 State St
• #65 Grand Ave
• #66 Chicago Ave

TAXI
Navy Pier has three convenient taxi drop-off and pick-up points:
1. West (front) end of Navy Pier at the main entrance, serving Dock Street and the Family Pavilion.
2. Mid-point at Entrance 1 serves the west end of Festival Hall and RIVA.
3. East (far) end at Entrance 2 serves the east end of Festival Hall, the Grand Ballroom and the Navy Pier Beer Garden.
